T.G.E.O. Know what that means?

. . .

I was at Huda's today. We baked brownies. After last week's helping stint, the both of us decided to do some baking ourselves. We baked two batches of brownies. I'm proud of myself. I think we did okay for a first time effort. A wonderful thank you to Huda for lending me her house and oven to work with. Mine's spoilt. But no worries. I'm getting it fixed and then I'm investing in a mixer. Or whatever it's called.

We went for dinner at Sofra's then and yes, froggie and my baybeh were absolutely right. The place is absolutely fantastic at night with its wonderful ambience. Totally quiet and peaceful. A great chill-out area for couples and close friends. Not encouraged for large gatherings. Though the prices are steep, we agreed that the food's yummy. I only had one gripe though. Late service.

A nice walk from there to Raffles MRT. Managed to get a closer look at the so-called "durian" but somehow we felt that the building resembled a jackfruit more. Caught sight of huge man-made statue bodyguards which had been placed at strategic points in the place. Huda came up with a theory that they were used to either : (a) "influence" (a much more polite word to use in comparison to "force") Singaporeans to behave more appropriately in and out of the area (*hint* ugly Singaporeans) OR (b) scare inquisitive people and thieves alike from breaking into the area. But um, why would they want to break in, in the first place? To steal drama props/musical instruments/stage curtains?

We also inhaled the salty-sweet sea and tantalizing smells of Walls' ice-cream. I was slightly tempted to grab a stick but no..*wink*..we had had chocolate pudding and that was rich enough. The stomach was full to the maximum. Time to exercise breathing techniques. *evil wink* But thankfully this only happens during the crimson tide.

Such a perfect day.

Thank God Exams Over. Period.
