She was probably not much older than 6 or 8 months, for she was still pretty small. She was lying against her mother's chest comfortably, her tiny eyes tightly shut, blissfully unaware of her surroundings.

She was certainly unaware of this particular girl glancing at her every now and then, a little smile on this girl's face.
