For instance, if bird shit dropped on your head, would you call it bad luck? What if you were wearing a cap/headgear/scarf when it dropped? Would it be a piece of good luck that your head was at least covered, thus preventing your hair from being smudged by the shit? Or what if you were wearing an expensive piece of headgear/whathaveyous which just happened to be white in colour? Then what?

Destiny it might be, but I always say it takes an effort to change your own destiny.
