*Thank God for them*

The counselling room in school, which is located just beside the staff room, has become sort of the unofficial praying room for the Muslim teachers. From 7.15-7.25pm (almost) every day, the room will be occupied by at least one teacher performing prayers.

Yesterday evening, I stepped out of that room close to 7.30, into the staff room, and was greeted by one of the school attendants. He was a thin, Chinese old man, commonly seen in a white singlet, shorts and slippers, in charge of locking up all the rooms before school closes.

"Sudah habis semayang?" he grinned. Upon hearing the affirmative answer, he flipped-flopped his way off.

I feel extremely blessed that the attendants like him and the plump Indian lady are so understanding. The lady in question, by the way, has ever waited for me to finish prayers in my own cubicle in the staff room at 7.35pm, when the official closing time for school is 5 minutes beforehand.

Alhamdulillah.
