That didn't mean I didn't have a great time yesterday. Let's face it, I'm not exactly the world's best cook. My cooking skills are really mediocre. (Can't bake for nuts as well.) So it was really flattering to have 2 people tell me that my first-time-tried sambal tumis telur was good. Wow. Not that spicy, but good. It was a good sambal. With home-cooked white rice..mmm mmm. To finish off with Andersen's ice-cream sundae was even better. Woot.

So yeah, a great Thursday despite the lashing out. (See what happens when you suppress things inside??)
